Maryland blue crabs can communicate through vibrations in the water, using their claws to create rhythmic tapping sounds. They are also scavengers, feeding on everything from algae to small fish. Interestingly, their color changes depending on their environment – freshwater crabs tend to be greener, while saltwater crabs are more vibrant blue!
