Swallowtail butterflies are found on all continents except Antarctica! The caterpillar form of the Swallowtail is a very light green with vividly poisonous looking orange and black eye spots down its back. Create habitat for these beauties by planting dill (as shown beautifully in the brooch), fennel, carrot, milkweed, and Queen Anne’s lace. They also love spicebush, roses, and magnolia trees!
